I bought a Hindustan Lever Pure It Marvel water purifier (product no 60040504) from Big Bazar, Growel’s in Kandivali East, Mumbai, on 5/5/2013 (Delivery challan no 3043 and Cash memo 24/26927). The delivery was supposed to be done in 15 days but we received the unit only on 27 May 2013. The installation was done only on 31 May. Soon we realised that the piece was defective. The unit leaks on the tank being full. The representative said he would be sending a technician in 48 hours but it’s been 72 hours already and no one has showed up. Plus, we received a message that the issue has been solved whereas no one has even come to sort the problem out.
Please help in getting a refund on the defective item and a fraudulent claim that the problem has been solved. Shame on Hindustan Unilever and Big Bazar!
