Hi,
I have bought the Reliance Net Card on July 4 2012 costing around 2250/- (as advance rental plan) for 3 months on my name i.e NITIN SHARMA.
It got activated the same day and was working fine for 20 days.
On July 24,2012 suddenly it stoped working and for finding the reason of the same I have contacted the customer care of the Reliance.
They have asked me to go to Reliance Web World [Pahar Ganj] and there I have been told the reason for the disconnection of the Net-Card is that there was some outstanding bill of approx. 3000/- in the name of “RAMESH SHARMA s/o YAAD RAM” on the address [i.e. 5088,Main Bazar Pahar Ganj].
Whereas, my address is “5086,Main Bazar Pahar Ganj” (also provided proof of the same) , the reason I am told of the confusion is due to my father’s name i.e. “RAMESH SHARMA s/o DEEP CHAND SHARMA”
Due to this confusion they have blocked my Reliance Net-Card saying they cannot do anything and you have to bear this loss and you have to pay for that outstanding bill otherwise this will not be activated.
It’s really very bad that the inability and incompetency of verifying any address and confusing the identities of people is being thrust upon the customer and harassing them both mentally and monetary.
It’s really seemed inconceivable for a company like Reliance that a matter which should have been resolved within matter of small time is being labeled NOT resolvable by the Reliance Web World.
This glitch at the company’s end is costing me the loss of my studies and time due to non-availability of the service.
Let me know the future course of action.
