In the month of Feb 12, I got a transfer letter from my company transferring my Job From Rajkot to Banglore After getting reference from my company’s colleagues and considering Brand Image of Agarwal Movers and Packers, I gave contract of transferring my house hold goods to Agarwal Movers and Packers from Rajkot to Banglore. The officials of AMP gave us assurance of safely transfer of household goods to Banglore and for that they have charged me Rs. 36500. They also assured me that in spite of safety measures if anything would be damaged during transit, they will reimburse me with full amount.
When we got the open delivery in Banglore, a lots of damages were found which were as under :
01. Glass Dining table broken into pieces, depreciated costing Rs. 10000
02. Lots of glass utensil broken into pieces costing Rs. 3000 altogether
03. One big God photo frame broken costing Rs. 400
04. Two wheeler Pulsar Bike damaged repairing charges Rs. 2500
05. Sofa set damaged approx repairing charges Rs. 2000
These all damages have recorded by employees of Agarwal Movers and Packers at the time of open delivery. We also have a photographs of the same. While pursuing compensation from AMP, initially they denied for the compensation. After lots of calls and follow up for compensation in AMP of Banglore office, they finally agreed for lump sum compensation of Rs. 7000 (Mail attached for your reference). We were kept talking of full compensation and not lump sum. Till date we yet to get any response from AMP.
Request you to please intervene this matter and let us know about procedure for lodging official complain against Agarwal Movers and Packers.
