Damage of AC during Service

Name of company/service: Samsung AC

In May’2012 water bennag leaking through inside unit of Sumsung Split AC. Immediately complain lodged to authorised service AC centre of Samsung (Cool Point. phone numbers 9903599269, 033-25001828, 9007133528). On May first week Mr. Himadri Chakraborty (Service Engineer from Cool point; mobile no.9163348440)came for repairing and could not rectify the problem, rather he broke the front grill of the AC and made it up by using Fevi quick. At that time only my mother was in the flat and she reported that in the mid of service, Mr Himadri went out and bought a fevi quick to repair. On return we noticed the damage and immediately called him. Initially he denied but then he accepted that the fault is of him and will ensure replacement.

Till then I have talked to him and to Cool point several time and till date did not get any solution. Each time they used to say we will call you when the same comes.

Today, 23.07.12 when I called Cool Point (9007133528), the person became aggrassive and told that generally servicing engineer never breakes the grill, they don’t have any proof against us so they will replace it, but can not specify any time. The person on the phone was so offensive that we felt humiiated.

After getting purchased of AC with so much of after sell service promises, this is very much pathetic that the customer is being blamed.

I need a suitablke solution of the same.

I directly complained in the Samsung web site but did not get any response.

Please help me out of such harrasment.
