Complaint against Whirpool India

Hi Sir

I (Brij Mohan Gupta) purchased Whirlpool Refrigerator(450 Lts.-FF450 Elite)on 11th Oct’2006 by Prakash Trading Co. one of your registered dealer in Shakti Nagar,Delhi-110007.

I also took AMC service from your company in Nov’2006.

But right in the month of November 2006, I had to call the consumer service and ask them to check the fridge as there was No Cooling.
The team came and checked the fridge and said that the gas has leaked.So they refill the gas and said now its fine.

Then,the fridgde was working fine for the next 4 months and then again I faced the same problem of Non-Cooling.
Again the team was contacted and they came and told me that the gas has leaked and same procedure was followed.

Now,this has become a regular practice.In every 3-4 months,I have to call the whirlpool consumer care and file a complaint for Non Cooling of fridge.Several engineers have come to my house and all of them said the same thing that this fridge has some defect and it became obsolete soon it was launched because of some problem and also told me that I have no other option than to just keep calling Consumer Care for Non Cooling of fridge whenever there is no cooling.

It almost takes 15-20 days for the issue to get resolved as the engineers who come for the service are not able to deal with the problem in one time.Sometimes,they fill more gas and sometimes they fill less gas.So,I have to get in touch with them again and again and get the matter resolved.
This process is repeated in every 3 months.

I am writing you this mail today as now I can’t take it anymore and I feel helpless as after so many complaints again and again in your consumer service department,no response has been given and I the customer has not been given any service properly.
If I had not taken the AMC,I feel I would have paid almost half the cost of fridge to your Service Department.
Its been waste of money and time for me.I am not going to trust Whirlpool any further in my life as its already been a ridiculous experience.
I am really dissatisfied by the services and the product of Whirlpool.

Request you to please change the fridge and compensate for the problem caused by the poor services and defected fridge.
