I have purchased MOTO X PLAY with IMEI no : 358967061447718 on 15th October 2015. From last week, speaker is not working properly from i.e. during warranty period. one week back I went to the service center (Syscomp Infosol, Saltlake, Sec-1, kolkata) and they failed to repair the fault and now telling me that it has moisture damage (a small water droplet is seen) and is not covered under warranty. It has never been exposed to water, but the service engineer said that atmospheric moisture could do this. I have gone through the terms and conditions of my handset Moto X play and it has the feature of ADVANCED NANO COATING TECHNOLOGY which acts as a water repellent barrier. Thus if there is any rain splatter or moisture is found then how could this phone is not in under warranty? Service engineers are also confused that whether this issue is under warranty or not and ther asked me to mail to the customer care ([email protected]) and when I mailed them they just overlook the matter and saying that if the service center is not willing to fixed the mobile within warranty then it must be out of warranty and I have to pay for this. If so then how MOTOROLA company is claiming that MOTO X play is water resistance. I asked them to proof that my mobile is not dipped into water and it should be in warranty but not received any communication from their end.

Please take necessary action against MOTOROLA so that they should think at least once before cheating consumers.
