There was some ads going on on Zee News channel some days back around 26-27 december. The contest was to identify some personalities which were quite easy to guess(Amitabh Bachchan, Dhoni). I texted the answer correctly. I received a phone call today who informed me that I had won first prize which is Tata Safari car. They asked me to choose whether I wanted Car or 16 lakh/- cash. I asked the procedures for both the options. They said that I need to deposit 25,000/- to claim my prize.On hearing this, I was so assured that this was a fraud. They gave me an SBI bank a/c no to deposit into which was 3289 2876 198.
they also mentioned that this was an a/c of the zee news manager named Ajay Kumar.
I would like to tell people that please avoid such frauds and the others involved should be tracked and punished before anyone else fell prey to such plaguarism.
