I had purchased a VIP Laptop Bag I4 with 3 year guarantee. Bag happens to have some very small stiches woren out which i have given to get it repair at VIP Dealer in Ghatkopar, namely VIP Park, M G Road. on 29.04.2012 to Mr Manish. I was told it will take one week to have it repair. I had been following up with VIP industries for last two months and talked at very level in VIP. Finally after two months i am been told that new bag is been offered as replacement and i need to pay Rs 425 as difference in the price.
Case:
1. When a small stich is required, why is VIP offering a new bag.
2. When VIP is deciding to offer a new bag why consumer has to pay for that decision.
3. When i am asking for my bag in return as is also. VIP has no response.
4. What is meaning of 3 guarantee when VIP is unable to give it.
5. When is compensation for undue harrassment and mental torture for the various visits, phones call and follow up with VIP personal.
