Wrong items and delay in delivery by www.petsstore.in
Self, Ms. R. N. Naha, ordered for two dog toys from www.petsstore.in and would like to register a complaint on the subject website for giving misleading/false information and cheating me.
I had ordered (1) A KONG Wobbler – Rs.1380
(2) An I Squeak Bouncing Baseball-size Medium – Rs. 360
Every page in the website advertises that there will be free shipping for orders amounting to over Rs. 1000 but I had to pay Rs.50 toward shipping cost, though my total order amount was Rs. 1740.
The website allows all transactions through Citrus Pay who took my payment on 18-03-2013 but I received no confirmation mail from either pets store or Citrus pay. Finally I got a confirmation mail on 20-03-2013 saying payment was accepted only on 20-03-2013. I did not receive any parcel nor did they contact me till 27-03-2013. On my repeated phone calls, on 27-03-2013 I was told that the said products were both non-available. I was offered the same item (1) from a different supplier who priced it Rs.10 higher and a smaller size of item (2). The price difference of Rs.150 was adjusted and refunded on 03-04-2013.
I did not receive any parcel till 01-04-2013 neither was I given any tracking number for the parcel. On repeated calls, I receive a bogus tracking number that was invalid.
On 03-04-2013 I received the parcel and found item (1) was replaced with some other KONG brand item that is of no use to me. The customer care official refuses to neither replace the item nor refund the money to me if I returned the product.
The website took 14 days to deliver a wrong item to me. The package had no ‘from’ address and the package was very poorly packed in a flimsy slipper box. It arrived to me in open condition and all the packaging had been ripped off.
The website has no track of the suppliers who list their products, nor do they check if the said product is actually available. The subject website has shown very irresponsible behaviour and has cheated me. I request your good selves to resolve this matter.
