Cheating by cancelling of advance railway confirmed ticket reservation without prior intimation and harrase the family member in journcriey. by creating critical position.

COMPLAINT REGARDING CHEATING TO VALUABLE CUSTOMER BY CANCELLIN ADVANCE E RAILWAY RESERVATION TICKET WITHOUT CONCURRENCE/INTIMATION TO CUSTOMER

With reference to above subject it is to inform you that I have booked advance ticket before 4 months i.e. e ticket on 13.7.2012 for journey from ahmedabad on dated 10.11.2012 to jammu tavi and return on 16.11.2012 from jalandhar to ahmedabad back for 10 passengers through an authorized IRCTC agent M/s metro traveler, having his office at ahmedabad . The return journey date was 16.11.2012 by jammu tavi train and to be boarded from jalandhar city to ahmedabad. Agent have recovered amount alongwith his commission charges etc as per rules,which we paid. and issued e ticket confirmed seat no vide PNR No 2337203714 (AC- III tier coach no B2 43, 46, 48, 53 & 54 ( total five passengers out of total 10 passengers) and another PNR for other five passengers of my family members.
On 16.11.2012 when we boarded from jalandhar city in said train and said coach , surprisely the incharge coatch T.C. has informed that out of 10 passengers only five ticket is available. As regards PNR No. 2337203714 relating to remaining five passengers, he informed that the same is already been cancelled earlier and the confirmed ticket issued by an agent before 3 months has no value now and has not considered as valid ticket as he was helpless in such situation and accordingly to law we have been penalized by another charges with penalty amount recovered by railway on spot by concerned person and allowed us for journey up to ahmedabad out final destination.
In this connection, it is not under stand as to :
1. Who has cancelled our ticket and on which date?
2. Whether e ticket cancellation can be done by other than agent by whom ticket has been issued or otherwise ?
3. If no, than how this happened ?
4. If yes, on which date and time and under whose id the same has been cancelled ?
5. Whether the amt of refund has been given by railway or otherwise ? If so, please give details of transfer amount, date and account no of concerned agent to whom the same paid
In this connection, on being inquiry from concerned agent, no satisfactory action / reply is being given and hence the integrity of said agent is also seems to be doubtful.
Sir, this type of act committed by any persons/agent is nothing but a cheating with malafied intention to harass our family by creating such critical situation during journey. And hence we are going to file FIR/police complaint/legal action against the concerned agency/persons/authority whoever it may be.
You are therefore, requested to kindly conduct an inquiry and investigate the fact and let me inform with supporting documentary evidences if any, so that suitable legal action can be taken at the earliest against responsible persons for natural justice .
An early reply/action in the matter is requested please.
