CHEATED BY RELIANCE ENGINEER ON THE PRETEX OF PHONE SWAPING

I am using reliance phone number 01293263814 since 2005 which was not in good condition for some times…i got a call on my said number for handset service at my home and then in December 2013 an engineer visited our home…after checking he told us to buy the new set as the old one is not worth to use. We purchased the handset for rs. 2800/- and he issued the receipt as well and told us the swaping of phone number from old instrument to new one will be in a 2-3days. When nothing happened then we lodge a complaint to reliance in written vide complaint number 1293263814 but they keep replying that we are looking in to your complaint and will revert but they did not sort out the issue.

Then we made a complaint to their appelant authority vide complaint number DWML14060252 on 22nd February 2014 for which they called me and asked the certain information which is useful for swaping the number but then again nothing happened and they stop responding when asked them to give the update.

Finally i have registered my complaint with DOT in written and then i got a call saying this time will sort out first the swapping issue and then see how he has charged so much for a just a second hand phone but as usual the response stopped inspite of putting reminder to them through DOT PORTAL.

this is a matter of cheating which the engineer did and issued the receipt from them company. he will be on a spree to cheat others too as there is almost no response from the reliance communication & their senior has turned deaf ear to the problem faced by me.

this is not expected from such telecom giant….???

the company is giving free hand to such people who keep cheating the consumer and taking advantage of leniency from the company.

it is not a matter of a few rupee but a matter of trust with the company who grow only by its consumer support but neglect them when they really needs!
