cheated by Big Bazar

Location/place: New Delhi

Name of company/service: Housewife

We bought a mobile phone from big bazaar vide their bill no 7079 dated 16/10/2011 and the warranty is still valid. But the phone is not working now. when we visited and complained to big bazaar they referred us to visit some service center at a Far away place. We visited the service center they refused to repair this though it is under warranty period. We request you to please take necessary action against the mobile company Alcatel and Big Bazaar, Ambeince Mall, Vasant Kunj for selling the mobile and not providing service.     Thanks for your email and while I was replying to you just received a call from Big Bazaar Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj, Mr. Deepak (he is the same person who asked me to go to service center and not to approach Big Bazaar). He has now asked me to deliver the instrument to you and it will take 3 to 4 days to get the same repaired. Thanks to Consumersforum.in who took pain and interest in this regard. God Bless them. Big Bazaar is a reputed concern therefore due to these kind of silly mistakes / unsatisfactory service offered by your staff some times you put your name in stake.     We are now sick of spending money in taxi to reach Big Bazaar every time to ask for our repaired instrument. Your staff Deepak says it cannot be repaired as the part (screen) not available and they are in mercy of alcatel company. Why Big Bazaar has to have such products where they are not supported by proper service. Further Big Bazaar should replace the same with the new instrument or refund our money. We have spent now more than the cost of this mobile instrument in visiting Big Bazaar everytime. Hope someone listens to our complaint. The instrument is with you people and yesterday also your staff Deepak confirmed that dont know still how many days it will take.

    Dear Sir / Madam,

    I, Bimal Mukhopadhyay using Vodafone no. 9836737373 from last six months. I had taken monthly 3G pack as mostly use this no for net surfing purpose. I am a frequent traveler across India. Recently I had travelled to Bhopal and Guna, MP for work which is within the Vodafone service network. But Vodafone charged me around 1700/- towards data usage and immediately intimated such incorrect billing.

    After that lot of communications exchanged and understand that as because of Vodafone data service is not available to that area, they had taken the service from IDEA and imposed the said charges to me. My logic is that as I had taken the monthly data pack and even in the roaming at Vodafone data network roaming charges is not applicable, but as because Vodafone does not have any data network at roaming place visited, why the said roaming charge customer had to bear.

    Now, they had disconnected my no even after repeated request.

    Lodging this complaint to instruct them to correct their error and reverse the wrong charges imposed on me.
