I travelled through Air India flight number AI469 DELHI TO NAGPUR on 19th August, 2016.
I had received a text message from the airlines on 18 August, 2016 at 2:53 pm whose details were, “Air India flight AI469 DEL-NAG on 19-08-2016 shall depart at 0645 Hours. AI Tollfree 18001801407. Inconvenience regretted”
I reached Indira Gandhi International Airport Delhi at 5:30 am on 19 August 2016, where at the baggage drop counter I was informed that flight is on time and I could miss my flight.
I rushed to the security check gates, where Airlines executives were calling for passengers for Nagpur. In that hurry I left my laptop at the security check gate DOM No. 244. INTL. No. 415
At first they simply state “inconvenience regretted” when you inform your passengers that flight is delayed and then again inconvenience regretted when flight is on time and passenger has to suffer due to your unprofessional conduct.
This is a serious matter against customer rights and a legal action can be taken for this unprofessional conduct from a airlines like Air India.
