I had purchased a Reliance Netconnect data card few months back for Rs. 1399 after the company had promised a speed of 3 mbps. But at the time of delivery, the agent did not give any demo which was also promised. Also the agent escaped without presenting any bill as well. The speed which we got was not even 2 kbps. I called them several times and asked to disconnect, but each time they told to try for few more days. I was tired of calling them and stopped using it from the second day and told if they are not disconnecting I am not responsible. Now they are getting back to me and telling I have to pay around Rs.1300 though I have not used the device at all and they are telling I have not attended the hearing at civil court for which I have not received any notice as well. Above all I have not used the device at all and faced a loss of Rs.1399 for the device. Kindly advise me as to what am I supposed to do.
