My wife has applied for a PAN card online and it was shipped by NSDL to the given address through Blue dart courier vide waybill no. 46078760140. A week passed by from the date consignment reached the destination city. They did not inform us. I checked the status on bluedart website it was showing consignee address is wrong. I verified with them and the address was found to be correct. They were about to bring the card on Friday 03-Aug-2012. But on not receiving I rechecked the status. It was showing the card was returned back to NSDL office due to their order to retrieve the shipment if not delivered within a week.
I called NSDL and inform them the whole story they gave me a complaint # 1067594, and told that the item will reach to me through Speed Post. Now when I again checked NSDL status to know about it, Its showing that Blue dart stated them “The reason for non-delivery as specified by the courier agency is ‘Consignee not available’. ”
This is absolutely wrong and I want to file a complaint against Blue dart that they take advantage of misinterpreting the information and not delivering the product. I think Govt of India should bring a rule to penalise courier services for doing this mischief.
