The Tilak Nagar area has a white paper on non-issuance of Occupation Certificate for non-availability of enhance Sewage Lines. The same organisation’s various department issues approval for higher FSI on redevelopment, building plans, commencement, completion, etc. MHADA is another organisation which gives approval for original MHADA building for Building societies to approach developers which get further approvals on above mentioned issues from MCGM. On completion, on pretext of sewage line enhancement NO Occupation Certificate is given and because of No OC, no water connection is given and because of No water connection, the MCGM charges higher sewage tax on Property tax making it more than 100% additional to normal. Water too has to be bought had higher price by these residence. So as the survey suggests 39,000 house unsold holding of builders, even those sold over 14000 houses in this area are occupied without legal sanctions (viz – OC) Thus the local authority is itself extorting the citizen of this country, in a way, to stay in decency in the house bought through hard earned / loaned earning. While the matter of fight between MHADA and MCGM to enhance the sewage line, the GOVT OF MAHARASHTRA, sits ideal over the situation to let corruption insurge in the system. This is not just the violation of basic right to owe a house and stay in it, but illegally. All this because State Govt and the highest local authorities MCGM does not have time to resolve issue but to tax citizen at higher rate and/ or harass them without water, OR let them harassed by builders or existing society members. This is a biggest scam involving big monies. Thanks and Regards
