Banks do not having transcation details from where transaction is happend

Location/place: Badlapur West , Thane

Name of company/service: Canara Bank Kulgaon Branch

Myself Vikrant Dabade having A/C no 31503 in kulgaon branch of Canara Bank.

I received a sms on 20.04.2012 at 01.31 AM that an amount of Rs.3999.29 is debited from your A/C 31503.

In the morning when I seen sms I called to call centre no they told me that transaction is did from Chennai at the same time I was at Aurangabad

I immidietly visit Canara Bank at Aurangabad but bank do not have details for particular transaction. My qurry is on which basis bank has been release payment & when my ATM cum Debit card is with me I did not give my ATM card to anyone.
