We had subscribed for Tata SKY DTH service in the initial period when it was launched, but had discontinued the service due to bad service. Eventually after about a year, we recieved a call from the call centre saying that they will be providing us services which would include all channels at a cost of Rs. 1200 for a year. Subsequently they started the service, which to our dismay was inadequate. Only select Hindi channels are telecast. This was against the promise of all channels. Along with this deficiency we also suffered from bad signal for which we were told that we will have to install a new device at a cost of Rs. 300. We had no option but to install the same. In 2 days we got to know that they had also deducted Rs. 1200 as installation charges for just attaching few wires to the set top box. This installation charge was waived off after we complained. Yesterday, the settop box went off again. After calling the call center and informing of the same, we got a response that some device must be faulty, which we will have to replace at a cost of Rs. 125. We have had a terrible time because of the pathetic service. We regret having installed Tata SKY DTH!!
