Autocratic Approach & Indifference Towards Customers

Complaints:

1. They rejected my Temporary OD Limit request despite my being a Performing Asset. I have a Home Loan with PNB Aliganj for the past 7-8 years without a single EMI lapse. They say it is not as per RBI or PNB guidelines. I am filing a complaint with RTI also to find out in how many cases they flouted these so called norms. The approximate value of my property is Rs 3 Crores, which is pledged with them. I requested them a temporary OD of mere Rs 3 Lacs for 3 months which the Chief Manager himself should have approved or recommended at least. A case of gross bias. Whereas other banks are willing to take over my Home Loan at no charge with much much higher OD facilities and why not, look at the value of the property. These near death PNB officials talk about RBI & PNB norms without even knowing that in how many cases they already have flouted it. Now my requirement is Rs 10 Lacs for 10 months and if not this bank, some other bank is willing to offer me services at my door step. I want an immediate decision on this. Sir, be rest assured, till the last day of my association with PNB, I shall remain a Performing Asset. I am really at loss to understand how many customers these people might have duped in 35-40 years of their services.

2. They debited my Home Loan account towards premium for insuring my building which is pledged with them. I already had the insurance from the same company an these people debited premium just to achieve their target in March, 2014. For the past 7-8 years they were sleeping in intoxicated or inebriated states. How can they debit my smooth Home Loan account without my prior consent that too towards insurance premium? It is misuse of the bank’s power to play around with the customer’s account. They did not even ask me for a copy of the policy as at one stage I was holding 2 policies for the same property from the same insurance company ie New India. I feel, it has been done in connivance with the Chief Manager of PNB Aliganj BO which is no less than a fraud. I wish this amount to be immediately reversed and confirmed to me.

3. The officers in PNB are very high handed & lazy and they are the reasons for the NPAs. They have no time to meet the customers to find out where the things are going wrong. Lucknow Circle should be the worst in India as far as PNB is concerned.

4. I am hoping at least 15 acquaintances of mine hopefully should transfer their Home Loans to another bank in September this year and the discredit for this must be attributed to PNB Aliganj BO and even lousier Lucknow Circle.
