Sir/madam
On 7th May,2011 I got a message from ‘52345 which is this “Dear customer,U are subscribed to Callertunes at Rs1/2 days.To cancel,SMS unsub 1003 to 155223(TollFree)Reliance”.
Along with that I got another message from ‘52811’ which is this “Dear Customer, Welcome TO Reliance MyTunes service. You have been subscribed TO this service. Download songs AND SET them FOR your family AND friends.”
To unsubscribe from the above two services I send ” unsub 1003″ to 133233, which is the procedure. But I got no reply, then I send the message again but again I got no reply.
On that day(7th May,2011) I recharge my number with Rs 200/-.
After 2- 3 hours of recharge when I checked my balance I found that Rs 2/- has been deducted from my balance.
Then on that same day (7th May, 2011) on 9:48pm I call the Customer care. She told me that, they are sorry for my balance deduction. I asked her to unsubscribe my number from the above two services. She told me that, the two services will be stopped within 48 hours and I will be confirmed by a sms.
Now on 8th May, 2011 I got a sms from ‘RTMSSCH’ which is this “YOUR SUBSCRIPTION TO CRBT SERVICE HAS BEEN RENEWED AT RS.30 FOR A PERIOD OF 30 DAYS. TO UNSUBSCRIBE SMS UNSUB 1003 TO 155223(TOLL FREE).”
Now when I checked my balance I found that Rs 30/- has been deducted from my balance.
To unsubscribe from the above service I send ” unsub 1003″ to 133233, which is the procedure. But i got no reply, then i send the message again but again I got no reply.
After 2-3 hours on the same day(8th May, 2011) I got a message from ‘52345’ which is this “Bnadhu Michhe Raag Koro Naa has been downloaded/renewed at a charge of Rs10.00. Tune renewal on 07-06-2011.To Search & set for your ”
After getting the message I found that again Rs 10/- has been deducted from my balance.
That means all total Rs. 42/- is been deducted from my balance.
Then immediately I call customer care. She told me that all the services (the above written 4 services) are same which is all about caller tune. She told me that I have intentionally activated services, and then I asked her in which way had I activated the services but she was unable to tell me that. But she can’t assure me that these problems will not happen again.
In these two days what I have realized is that Reliance Communications deduce money from our available balance by subscribing to the caller tunes, and other promotional services without our knowledge and permission to earn extra illegal money from the consumer. I had not send any sms or answered to promotional call because my number is subscribed to DND (Do Not Disturb) service. So I can’t get any promotional call or sms. Then how can the customer care tell me that “I have intentionally activated services”.
Now I have two demands from Reliance:-
i> Firstly they have to give my money back and
Ii>Secondly they have to assure me that these kind of ’AMOUNT DEDUCTION BY ILLEGALLY SUBSCRIBING TO ITS SERVICES’ will not happen again.
