Alpha Shoe Rack / Steel Slimline 3 door : Delay in delivery / wrong installation

Dear Madam/Sir,

1. I had paid the full amount for Alpha Shoe rack to one of your authorized franchisee, M/s. Bhagirath Interiors on June 1, 2013. Payment was done on confirmation that the product will be available within 7 days. After much follow up product was delivered on June 13, 2013. Service from the franchisee is not up to the mark. Even for installation I had to follow up and it was carried out on June 16, 2013. I was present during the entire installation process and it was easy to decipher that the two persons had little knowledge about the installation process. The result is that I had to bear the consequence as follows:

Top front panel wooden board at the point of joint to the aluminum handle has been damaged.
Bottom panel lose fit / gap between the wooden board and aluminum panel / wooden board must have been damaged.
Wooden board acting as separator in the bottom panel has not been fixed on one side, two screws are not fixed.
Middle panel wooden board is not functioning smoothly.
Plastic separator in the bottom panel has been broken at the time of installation.

Complain was registered on June 17, 2013, call no. B1706119837. Even call up the franchisee and after repeated calling they have informed that the parts may be available after 15-20 days.

2. Not to mention the steel Slimline 3 door cupboard bought in April 2013 had a huge bulge on top back portion at the joint portion during installation. This might be due to too much force at the joints while installation. When enquired the representative told that he has 15 years of experience and this is common while installation. I doubt then it should be across all the similar products or defect in product. Also complained about the same with the aforementioned call no.

To live up to the “Godrej” brand name is it worth waiting for more than one month for the product to be functional, after full payment for Alpha Shoe rack. And whether problem in second product is common across the product series.

Then is the service / product provided by you could be comparable in the industry!
