Airtel Pathetic DTH Provider

If Govt. thinks applying Digital Addressable Systems (DAS) will improve customer viewing experience than I believe without setting standards like what bitrates, bandwidth, compression etc audio/video quality of both SD & HD channels are not going to improve the viewing experience of consumers instead it’s going to suffer a lot. I have experienced the same with Airtel DTH #1 Worst/Pathetic DTH provider in India. Airtel use MPEG4 DVB S2 technology but still provides inferior quality for both SD & HD Channels this is due to heavy use of compression in place and the end result is picture looks dull, gets blurred many times, audio across all channels are same be it SD or HD effected with heavy DRC or some other compression techniques used by Airtel on a whole poor viewing experience. In fact Airtel charging more than any other DTH provider but still provides cheap services at a very high cost. Airtel Fake Advertisements are everywhere to attract consumers interest in them who are unaware of their cheap tactics and hidden Terms & Conditions which protects them every time and all the burden comes on consumer and this is due to Govt. fault in policy making which must protect their Janta who choose them to rule and the end result is consumers have to pay the price. My request to Information Broadcasting Ministry/TRAI is to take steps against such companies especially Airtel to either return my money or improve their services and heavy fined them/cancel their licenses for humiliating their customers for availing their services.
I have taken this issue up with Airtel Higher Officials before taking this step and the answer is we are the No. 1 DTH Provider in providing the best viewing experience and there is no compression on Audio or Video we have put in place. This means the broadcasters are using obsolete technology or cheap standards to beam their channels or Airtel again lying about this just to save them from consumers? I don’t think so but as per Airtel Technical Team this seems to be the answer. One thing can be they are not much educated in DTH Sector or saving the company from consumers.
