Airtel Broadband Disconnection

Hi Sir/Madam,
I had been Airtel Broadband and Mobile Customer for several years. Some where around 20th – 28th April 2011, I made calls to 121 asking for relocation of broadband connection to a new address as i was very happy with the broadband service and wanted to continue with Airtel. There was a survey done by your technical officer and he reverted back saying they could not re-locate the connection to the new address. Since re-location was not possible i had asked for a disconnection of telephone and broadband connection with the your customer care. Before leaving the house i thoroughly checked and found that both my the telephone and broadband connection were disconnected.

However, i was not informed by your customer care that a request was not created. It was only after a few months i received a call again from your customer care claiming that my payments for months after April were due. Since i had vacated long back(28th April) and had confirmed my disconnection at my previous address… and have cleared dues for month of April, i did not understand why i was getting these calls.

Nonetheless, I sent a mail on 11-Aug-2011 again to [email protected] explaining my case that i vacated long back.It was only then that request for disconnection was heeded.

The connection was disconnected somewhere around 28th April.If Airtel checks for the usage for months of May,June,July and August, they will find it to be zero bytes.
It can be verified from the Airtel call logs that i had spoken to the customer care between 20th-28th April and found out that i had indeed asked for a disconnection.

Hence, I don’t find myself liable to any payments to Airtel due to the above mentioned facts.They cannot hold me at fault due to short-comings and incompetency of their customer care dept and gaps in their process and the failure in communication between their technical team and administrative department.

Please help me out in this case as i have been continuously harassed by Airtel customer care and legal department.
