Sub: Regarding Airtel Broadband Complaint Number: 27220040
I had raised a complaint regarding internet not working with the reference number: 27220040 on the 10th OF JANUARY’13. The customer care representative informed me that there was a line issue at my location and it would be rectified within 1 business day. After that I never heard from them. Each time I called up customer care, I got the same information that the issue is being looked into and they would inform the concerned department. Nothing happened.
On the 14th of Jan’13, I wanted them to escalate to matter on highest priority to which the customer care representative gave me the following numbers:

When I called up the Nodal Office on the 14th of Jan’13, I was informed by Mr. Rishi that my line would be up and running within 2 business days. TILL DATE NOTHING HAS HAPPENED. I STILL DO NOT HAVE INTERNET CONNECTIVITY AND IT IS THE 14TH OF FEBRUARY’13.
After that, I have had numerous conversations with Airtel Appellate Authority guys, they inform me the say thing that the connection would be up and running in a few days and each time I ask them to escalate the case to a manager, they simply DISCONNECT the call. Each time they come up with an excuse that it would take a little while, however they cannot provide me any deadline as to when the service would be restored. IT’S BEEN MORE THAN A MONTH NOW AND I AM TOTALLY FRUSTRATED AND FED-UP WITH THE SERVICES.
Now the Appellate Authority guys call me up and are forcing me to surrender the connection. When I informed them that I require a written mail from them that my monthly bill should be waived off as I have not had internet connectivity, Mr. Raghav said he would do so. However, I am yet to receive a mail from them. So I suppose I have to stick with a non-working connection as AIRTEL would not budge and they simply fail to do anything to get the internet connectivity up and running.
I have an AIRTEL MOBILE Connection, this AIRTEL Broadband connection and a 2Mbps leased line at my office, also provided by AIRTEL. Now that i have faced such a situation, it makes me feel AIRTEL is not a worthy service provider. I am not sure, if this mail will ever reach any conclusion and they simply would close the case. The one thing that I can and I shall do is to get AIRTEL services disconnected, as a mobile service provider as well as the 2 Mbps Leased Line that I have at office.
