It has been a nightmare since I bought one AC from Panasonic, as far as the service is concerned. I bought it from Great Eastern Appliances Pbt. Ltd., 66, Syed Amir Ali Avenue, Kolkata- 700019( near Beck Bagan Mithai) on 24/03/2013. The model number of the AC is CU/UC 12 PKY/2012 and the MR no. is BB/BMR/01475/12-13.
The AC stopped working suddenly in April 2015 and after a month of incessant complaining the service came around the beginning of this month and found the compressor is at fault. They finally changed the compressor on 07.05.2015. The AC again stopped working on 23.05.2015 and after a day of complaining, a mechanic came, took a photocopy of the bill and after checking said that the compressor was at fault again. But since then no mechanic has arrived. My whole family has been complaining every day but to no proper response. They are giving numbers of service centres like Simran Services (12/H,Tagore Park, Block-C, Kolkata-700039) and Star Air-Condition Refrigeration( 63, Dev Lane, Kolkata-700014) but their phone numbers are always busy. Pradeep Bose area manager of Panasonic behaved very rudely when called. The service center has also falsely notified Panasonic that the complaint has been resolved.
So our situation is that of despair with no air condition in these hot months. So first thing I would like to say that condition of Panasonic air condition is very poor- NEVER BUY PANASONIC (it may be cheap, but every cheap thing backstabs).
Secondly service of Panasonic is completely poor. I don’t know what to do know.
P.S. This is my first time complaining in the consumer forum. So I don’t know what to do and how this forum works.
