Dear Sir,
I boosked a eticket for GAYA to PURI by train for journey on date 18/10/2011 vide pnr number 2426410905
we get a waitlisted ticket. at the time of departure of train four passengers was waitlisted and two was confiormed.
so we decided that we were not travelling. as per railway rule we’ve filed TDR with in 30 days after departure of train i.e. on 18-10-2011, vide Reference No: ekt2011101803484812. Till now IRCTC has refunded our amount.
we’ve sent many emails to IRCTC (TDR process department). their last message dtd. 18-04-2013 is submitted below for your kind information:

Dear Customer, Sorry for the inconvenience.Kindly note that your refund case of PNR No.2426410905 has been forwarded to CCM/ECO Railway on 27-Oct-2011 .We have already issued Reminders on 09-May-2012 and 19-Jan-2013 and 26-Feb-2013 to concerned railway to chase up the case.But despite reminders refund is yet to be received from the concerned railway.Now we have sent another reminder on 18-April-2013 with all the papers pertaining to your refund case to concerned railway to chase up the cases. As soon as refund, if any, received it will be credited to your card account.

I am to inform you that till today the above TDR is under verification process by the IRCTC. There is already passed one & half year, but due negligence of Rly. Department I’ve not receive back my TDR amount i.e. Rs.5030/-.
Hence, I am request your goodness to please take necessary action to get back my amount at an early date for which I shall ever grateful to you.
