After taking money hotel was not provided

I have booked a hotel for 2 days in Hyderabad through makemytrip.com. They deducted the partial money and hotel was not booked. Hotel staffs told that they have not got any confirmation from makemytrip.com and asking for almost triple amount of money which was promised and according the the booking from makemytrip.com.
