Hi Sir,
I want to bring to your notice the harrassment I am facing for the last 3 years in the hand of the bank called HSBC credit card department. They have not spared me even after the sad demise of my mother just 3 months back. I would like to bring into your notice that HSBC provided me with a free credit card in 2012. I used it for 2 years and paid all the dues accordingly, however in 2014 due to some unavoidable financial and chronic health of my mother I was unable to pay the due of around 20,000 rupees to HSBC as I lost my job and my mother fell sick due to perkinsons disease. This did not let their recovery agents stopped from harrassing me by sending goons named ‘shakeel’ into my house on a regular basis. This happened on each and every month, but I informed them my financial situation is precarious I will pay when I will have the money, but they still harrassed me on a regular basis. And finally it happened that due to this issue my mother expired on 24th November, 2016, and just when I was involved in my mother’s last rites these hsbc recovery agents came to my house again for money and also the advocate letter for payment notice has not stopped. This has caused plenty of mental and psychological tension for my family and they have also increased the amount of 20,000 rupees to 80,000 rupees which is unbelievable! Whenever I complained to their customer service they just say they cant help as they are the bank and above the law of this country. In this situation I would request somebody to come to my help with utter disappointment and immense trust on our law system.
