: Activation of Caller tune on my vodafone no 9654684413 without my knowledge or consent.

Sir\Mam,

I am the user of the above mentioned vodafone mobile no . Sir, this is to inform you that on the 27th of June, 2012 at around 6.30pm, I received two messages from Vodafones ‘happy to help’ saying a callertune has been activated on my no and an amount of Rs 45 has been deducted.

Sir, after deactivating the same immediately (for avoiding any further deductions) when I called the customer care no 198 to register a complaint, the executive on the other side told me that my account has not been updated because of which he cannot provide me the details as to when I requested the activation of the same. I again called at around 7 pm , same day to know the details of the call which according to them was made by me to activate the said callertune. This time the customer care executive told me that it was activated because I replied a service call made by the Vodafone to my number. Again when I called the customer care to re-confirm the same, another customer care representative told me that the caller tune was activated because I dialed the number 123 and got the same activated voluntarily and refused to revert the amount.

Sir, I received two contradictory statements from the Vodafone executives about a call which was never made or received by me or any of my family members (you can cross check the same from the concerned authority) and the same does not appear anywhere in the called or received calls list of my phone.

Sir, it hurts and pinches the pocket of a middle class person like me when an amount of Rs 45 is cut due to no fault of mine. I request you to take necessary action against such blood sucking mobile service providers and try to refund the wrongly deducted amount of Rps 45 as soon as possible.
