Name of company/service: ACT Broadband
Tried to subscribe for ACT broadband for a home connection.
They came and installed it, and it worked for EXACTLY 10 days. Even in these 10 days,
-> network availability was not continuous
-> The promised 4 hour back-up from router did not even last 4 seconds.
Despite this, I paid up the bill for the first month.
Second month onwards, I started calling to complain thinking they will come repair it. They didn’t bother.
Third month, another complaint, they didn’t bother showing up. This happened 2-3 times, they dont address complaints regarding the connection!!!!!!
Okay, I realised I made a BIG mistake by subscribing to this if they dont have customer support. I ask them to disconnect.
DISCONNECTION TAKES TWO MONTHS??? REALLY?? According to me, it was disconnected after the FIRST TEN DAYS.
They are shameless enough to give me a bill for 4 months and give me 10 days service. Scamsters!!!
