Dear Sir,

My complaint against the credit card department is regarding harassment and mental torture.

My HDFC Credit card number is 4346781102845096

I am the customer of HDFC credit card from last 10 years and I have been continuously paying all the bills. Due to certain circumstances I wasn’t able to pay the bills since last 2 months. I have been following up with HDFC for settlement for the last 2 years. But these people are least bothered to help with settlement. Also I have asked several time that I wont be able to pay the lumpsum amount at one go so kindly help me with EMI option, will pay the whole amount if you breakinto EMI.

I have been receiving continuous harassment calls almost many times in a day from the credit card collection department. Today, 8th August 2014, one collection executive Vivek Gondali, has come in my home and asking for payment . As my old parents were at home, he started threatening them, they called me, I told him that i cant make the payment now, would require more time. I asked him to call his boss & then talk to me. I received a call from Mr. Mahesh Kulai, from HDFC Chandivali branch. I explained him my situation, but he started speaking loudly & using abusive words. Infact, i asked him to send the details on email of my account since the last transaction, but to send that he’s asking me to pay Rs.225 for the statement of each month.

This is total mental harassing to my parents & me. ,Please suggest me what kind of action can I take against Collection executive Vivek & his boss Mahesh Kulia….

Please suggest what should I do???

What kind of legal action can be taken against the HDFC collection agents for mental harassment and using abusive language.
