A WRONG WAY OF COLLECTING PROCESSING FEES BY HDFC BANK.

Dear Sir,

As I needed money on loan for my domestic needs, I approached the HDFC Bankura Branch and there I was introduced to a Person by Name Mr. Avishek Nandy, Asst. Manager, Mobile No: 08926677418. He advised us to apply for a loan against property. In the very next day I meet him again at the branch with the relevant documents and then he suggest us to open a savings account. So we had given a copy of all the documents and Rs. 200/- cash. After that we had deposited an amount of Rs. 10,000/- through cheque. After a week(aprox) a person by name Mr. Bibhu Dutta ( phone no.-09679796490) called me to meet at HDFC Bank Ltd. Gilander House to sign on the application form and for another set of documents as the previous one was lost by their mistake. After two or three days he had called me again asking me for two cheques against HDFC Bank of Rs.800/- and Rs. 5620/- towards processing fees. He had confirmed me that I am able to get a loan of 7 Lakhs. So, I personally gave another set to Mr. Dutta along with the cheques at Durgapur Branch.
But finally the loan is not sanctioned.
When I asked Mr. Dutta the reason,he said that, I am not eligible for the loan as property value is 12 lakhs. After that I had asked their Customer Service Officer, But she had not given any supporting reason.
I feel I am being cheated by Mr. Dutta, by keeping me in dark about process and I request for getting refund my processing fees.
