Sir, with due respect and high hopes I am writing this letter to you. I am hopeful that only you can sort out my problem. I am mother of two daughters and unfortunately, by seeing the brand name Fiitjee, I admitted my younger daughter Mansi Sharma to fiitjee coaching classes at Kalu Sarai, Delhi in 4 years Integrated class room programme and her classes started from April 14, 2018. However, she stopped attending fiitjee classes from May 13, 2018 as she was not satisfied with the opaque teaching system and environment of the institute. she was not comfortable in the classes due to discrimination policy. The teachers only take care of scholars and there are categories of very good students, medium students and average students. The class rooms locations never shown to parents any time neither before the admissions nor after the admission. Fiitjee hired so many small small floors in the kalu sarai village where the class rooms have been located in very dangerous locations where hypertension wires are passing through the narrow lines and any mis-happening like fire incident can be occurred any time and there is no limit of students’ strength in the class. In the basement of sba-3, some restaurant is running , means no safety provision is there for childern. By facing all this, my daughter was going in depression, and I decided to quit the institute. She left the institute in just one month. In view of this, I requested the Institute several times via email and speed posts for withdrawal of my child from the course and to refund my hard earned money and Post Dated Cheques given by me for future programme. However, they have only once replied that since we have signed the clause that ‘fee is not refundable under any circumstances’ they will not refund the fee at any cost. They told me over the phone, that even if “your child died, we will not refund the fee. We have no such branch in the institute where these cases can be dealt.” I feel cheated, disappointed and hopeless. I have already paid DD of Rs. 40400/- in the month of Dec. 2017, Rs. 2000/- through cash, Rs. 60500 through post dated cheques (In Jan. 2018) and Rs. 30550 (in the month of 2018). Total : 1,33,450/- (One lakh thirty three thousand four hundred fifty). You will be surprised that all the payments have been taken well before the commencement of the classes nearly six months before the payments were deducted.My daughter has attended only 7/8 classes. Further, I requested fiitjee to cancel her name, since the admissions for the programme are still going on and there will be no financial loss for the Institute. But all in vain, nothing has been come back to me, no reply,no assurance, nothing. they have only one reply that we have no refund policy. Sir, I request you with folded hands to help me in the matter. I am really feeling cheated and hopeless and finding no way to sort out this issue. Just for the sake of money, I can’t send my child in that environment by which she can go in depression and it is even danger for her life. I request you to please help me so that I could get the refund of the fee and repay the loans taken by me for this purpose.
