I Rahul Singh, resident of Bhilai want to inform you that On 30 March 2018 i have attended the presentation given by sterling candidates 1.Kumar Gaurav 2. Vikash Singh 3. Mr.Amit( Senior Person) and i had paid 29638/- INR on 30 march 2018( In hotel AVLON)for the membership of sterling , the invoice no is 003688 in the name of Sterling holyday resorts india ltd .They took three cheque 1st a 100rs Cheque 2nd a cancel cheque and 3rd first EMI cheque of 17289 Rs for next month.
On 31st March I had requested the membership cancellation after discussion with customer care executive he told me that within 10 days I can cancel the membership and whole amount will be refunded. I sent a mail to [email protected] for cancellation and refund.
After 2-3 hours I had receive a call from feedback department of sterling and person told me that they are giving me a free holyday trip and after that trip I have to decide whether I want to take membership or not. He told me to meet with Kumar Gaurav at Hotel Avlon durg.
At evening on 31st March I went to hotel avlon, Durg and meet with Mr.Kumar Gaurav and Mr.Amit, they give me oral commitment that please don’t cancel the membership this is a Appraisal time and our carrier will be affected by this cancellation, we will give you 3 additional holyday trips in that 29638 rs (deposited as down payment) from July, August and September. If you will satisfy then continue the membership, if you will not then they will cancel the membership and will refund the money. They told me that I have to put a hold on the previous given cheque of 1st Emi of amount 17289 rs. They didn’t told us that they took a mandate for ECS for EMIs. They told us that if I don’t want to continue with membership then any amount will not taken by company. They didn’t told us about automatic deduction from account without any intimation. They Hided the facts and wrongly took the signature on mandate of ECS along with other documents. Same day I have received a complimentary free gift voucher of holyday from sterlings by mail.
They told us that when the welcome call will arrived I have to say that I will satisfy with the terms and I want to continue the membership with sterlings.
After so many chats on whatsapp the sterling candidates Kumar Gaurav and Vikash Singh says that we will arrange your holyday as soon as possible. But still they didn’t sent other remaining 2 gift voucher’s for that.
On 3rd of June they deduct the EMI of 17289 Rs from my account through ECS without any intimation. When I call to customer care executive she told me that I have to sent a complaint mail in [email protected]. After that I have received a call from sterling Chennai, I have told all this to them that how the sterling’s marketing team cheated me and I want to cancel the membership (as marketing team told me previously that I can cancel it in future).The person from feedback told me that I have to show some proof of this. I told him that I have the mail copy of that but I didn’t have any proof of oral communication with marketing team (Kumar Gaurav, Vikash Singh and Amit). The Feedback person told me that he can’t help me out for this problem and he can only cancel the membership without any refund, He told me that it is a company policy.
I have also talked with field staff of Raipur and gave him all information regarding this, after that he suggest me that I have to sent a mail regarding this type of misleading by marketing team to the feedback. Therefore I am sending this mail for justice.
I want to request you please cancel my membership and proceed for refund the amount as soon as possible.
Till now I have not utilized any facility of sterling holydays but still they wants to refuse the return of investment.
The total amount they have took is – 29638/- as down payment + 17289/- as EMI= 46927/-Rs
Please refund my money and took some action on this. This is a case of misleading, clear cheat and fraud.
