This is in regards to the SBI card outstanding payment. My name is Nitun Kumar Dash working as an Assistant manager in GE. I happened to hold a credit card #4377486997807720.
To begin with I would like to ask one question which back in the world will take 2 months to receive the payment and finally couldn’t do so after numerous calls to the customer care and collection agencies.
I had a bad situation in my family as the only earning member passed away last year. i missed a few payments and was on Leave without pay for 5 months.
When I came back i realized my card has been written off.
I called your customer care on 8th Feb. Requested for cebil clean up on the condition of making the payment. I made an instant payment of RS 25000 also. I was advised thet someone will collect the rest money on 1st of March and cebil clean up letter will be provided. When no one came on 1st March i called again and spoke with one of your supervisor(Nedhi) to process this Immediately as i want my cebil clean up.
No one came till 1st April . in between i called more than 10 times to customer care and It was extremely frustrating to request for the same thing again and again.
I got a call on 10th April from Shailendra Sharma saying my letter is ready and someone will come to take the money.
A person came on 16th April but with a letter for reissuance letter but no clue about cebil clean up letter.
I gave him a check dated 21st April after getting a promise that my cebil clean up letter will be with me before that or else i will stop pay the check.
In between I followed up several times never received any letter. Called more than 40-50 times to all the numbers i have with me for SBI.
i deceided to stop pay the cheque until i get the cebil clean up letter and i did that.
Suddenly I received a message that my check was applied on 1st of May.
Received a call from Mr Amit stating that your letter is ready on 4th of May. Someone came to deliver the letter on 6th May but he didnt collect the cash I offered as the cheque is in process. I said repeatedly that i have made a stop payment but he said he will come again if it will not be processed.
At last i received a message on 13th May that the cheque didnt process for stop payment and someone came to receive the payment for 6100/- which was my total due.
i made the payment and getting a message today that only 6000/- has been applied to my account. When i called the person who collected he mentioned he by mistake did this and will apply another 100 Rs on monday.
In between my date mentioned on all my letters has been gone and i am still wondering about my cebil status.
This is one of examples of VERY poor customer service.
My credit rating has been screwed and no one is ready to give me Loan. i have been chasing to make a payment no one heard from SBI
I would sincerely request you for justice and i am ready to provide all the documents for investigation.
I am really helpless here.
