My landline No is 080-23606646. There was a solicitation call on my land line from hungama customer care services on 04/02/2015. My wife and daughter who attended the call had clearly told the customer care executive that they dont like to opt for package services of Hungama. Despite this, three paid services namely hungama movies on demand, hungama music on demand and hungama games on demand were activiated. The charges for hungama services were noticed in the bill of Feb 2015 and Mar 2015.
On speaking to customer care 23.04.2015 , all the services was deactivated. And the hungama services customer care was requested to refund the changes of feb 2015- total charges 366.08 plus service tax, Mar 2015- total charges 410 plus service tax and apr 2015- total charges plus service tax till 23.04.2015 (as these services were activated unauthorisedly and were not availed at all.
But, the customer care have rejected my request stating that Activation is done by user himself via DTMF Mode wherein user need to confirm activation of services by pressing 1# from his landline no. & we have received response from your landline no. post which your service was activated.
Dear sir, during conversation with customer care executive on 04.02.2015, my daughter have conveyed to customer care executive in clear terms that they would not want these services. The calls from hungama services are recorded for future reference too. The call record details can indicate if these services were activated unauthorisedly.
All over the country, millions of people would be availing land line services from BSNL. I would not know how many people would feel the way I feel now-cheated. Please provide justice.
