Complaint against malpractices of AIRTEL

Hi,

I recently bought Airtel Digital Tv (45 days back). My consumer Id is: 3015563025

Before I bought it, I chatted with airtel customer executive. I wanted to buy SD connection as i dont have full HD Tv. The lady on chat told me that I should buy HD connection for future upgradation. I asked if it is mendatory to watch HD channels on HD setup box (2 times). She said I can buy a SD pack on HD setup box.

Now, when I am trying to recharge, they are telling that at least 2 HD channels are mendatory.
Clearly the lady told lie to sell the new connection. And I am not the only one. On this forum itself, I can find multiple complaints with same problem.
Its airtel stratagy and malpractice to fool new customers.

I somehow sensed something fishy and copied my conversion on chat(Yes, they have this feature).
Here is the chat. Please see how delibarate she was to sell me the connection.

what is the difference between HD, HD recorder and HD+ ?
HD set top box does not come with recording option.
The [HD] recorder has a fixed hard disk drive, which has a storage capacity of 500 Gigabytes
The addition to the HD+ set top box is that it comes with an option to plug in your USB drive and record your favourite Tv programmes.
The price of HD and HD+ package is same.
This offer is only for customers who purchase online.
can i buy “rest of india packs” in bangalore?

May I know which set top box would you like to select for the new connection?
If i buy HD+, do i need to pay money to record?

how much is that?
Once installation is complete, send SMS ADD PLUS to 54325 from your registered mobile number to enable the Recording functionality on your set top box. Subscription charge Rs. 30/month including taxes.
i can’t compare the packages online.. i.e whats the difference between value prime and economy sports plus
Value prime package is for existing customer.
Economy sports plus package is for new customers.

I mean how do i choose the package once I buy the setup box?
You will get Economy sports plus package with the set top box.
i see more channels in south economy sports plus than economy sports plus

what is per month cost for south economy sports plus package?
Rs. 440.
thats the consusion i have, in monthly packs, u have mentioned cost as 305
