I had ordered a bed from PEPPERFRY for which i paid online the entire amount at the time of order. The delivery took about 45 days, that too after several followup from my end to speed en up, with their call center. But the product which i recd was:
:made of substandard material.
: Does not meet the basic specification of fitting in a 78*60 mattress as for a Queensize bed.
:The finish is uneven, rugged and polish is of different colour on different parts.
:The boards are chipped in several places.
When i asked for a replacement or money back…they have a ‘NO RETURNS POLICY’. and this is what the response was.
“The scratches and the chips are something that happens in transit. The polish is just a shade put on the wood and anyone will be able to do so hence I suggested a carpenter to come over.
The mattress area size as per your image does vary by a 0.5 inch. These items are made by individual people and not a machine make hence a little difference with the mattress area size.
The image on the website is photo shopped hence you can see the extra shine on the same.”
Well all i can say is I made a big mistake by ordering expensive furniture from PEPPERFRY. BE WARE of PEPPERFRY.
