hello!
I have a Dell Vostro 1510 laptop.Two days back following problems evovled-
1)charger plugged in but battery isn’t charging.
2)slow voice with the speakers
3)Cd writer working with some cd’s but most of cd’s not working.
I reported all these problems to the Dell Service centre Lucknow branch.
They said they well diagnose each problem and service my laptop.I thought they will repair speakers and battery problem.I already know there is need of replacing Cd writer.
I have submitted my laptop on 17/6/2013.The next day I got a call from the service centre regarding the problems.They said-
1)you have to change your battery it is loose.I asked if the battery is not working or not, they said yes battery is working but is some loose .
2)your speakers are damaged you have to replace them.
3)your writer is damaged you have to replace it as well.
Now,my point is what have they done with my laptop.
They are saying battery is working but is some loose means there must me some problem with the laptop.And I have checked my battery it works with other models.
Secondly,what have they done with the speakers??
->If I have to change all the (affected) parts of my laptop.Then what have they done.
->What is the means of servicing??Only to diagnose not to repair.
->I have already known there were some problem with the speakers ,writer and the charging and I have to change them some day.But my main concern was to get it repaired so that it can work for some more days.
But the service centre replied with what i already know and with no results.
Then Why am i paying 1360/-??just to know what i already know.
And the most funny was that they don’t know how to format a system.
I have installed windows 7 & xp both. They say they have to format all the drives to install windows OS again.
I myself can format only c drive and have done it before many times but the dell service centre can’t.
