I ported my number (9884696681) from Vodafone t docomo in Jan 2013. I came to US in Feb and the SIM card was working fine. Then I git a message saying I need to pay Rs.150 to Vodafone to avoid disconnection. I paid that amount in a week through my friends in India and updated Docomo customer care. But after a week I was unable to get any messages or calls. Now there is no service. I contacted customer care and they told Vodafone has deactivated the number. But Vodafone people are saying that they have nothing to do with it and contact Docomo itself. I have been trying to get this solved for past one week and neither customer care nor international roaming team provided any help or a valid reason. Now they are saying that my number is not active in their database. This is extremely frustrating. Please help in resolving this issue.
