Exteremly poor quality and bad service

I had bought Elica cook-top (CT VETRO 460 DX, serial No- HK11020223) in April 2012 from my neighborhood store (Bhavani Steel, Pimple Saudagar, Pune).

There are couple of problem with the top.

1. The design is severely faulty. The holes from where gas comes out located at the periphery of the burner – which causes a massive heat loss. Due to which my cooking cylinder is getting over in 15 days flat. And it happened twice since I bought it. I am thus using this cook-top only it is required – and cooking using alternative medium.

2. The O-ring and other attachment got rusty within a week!!!!

I had contacted a service person – Ghanashyam (9850082541) – he took away my warranty card to deposited it . I also mailed all the photos of faults.

After three weeks of waiting someone named – Suren called from customer care (020-67278700, 9326044358 ) on June 23 and told me – it is usage problem. I dont understand how come a stainless steel object gets rust within a week!! and how come my gas usage jumps with a new stove (I was using 4 burner stove for 6 years now, which I recently replaced for a Elica one)

But after explaining him all the issues – he said he would send some representative to look at the issue. which he never did.

My problem (complaint ID 24740) is still unresolved(today is August 20, 2012). My warranty card is still with Elica.
