You broadband is not working form the 1st day of connection

I’ve bought you broadband connection on Wednesday, 10th April 2013 & on Sat., 13th April their technician came to set-up the modem. The Modem was very old & the wire was having broken pin. There were some problem while activation & so the technician came on Monday. But somehow it wasn’t connected! After so may try, finally I got the connection. But the next day same problem occurred again. The connection was breaking-down time-to-time! Meanwhile, I bought a router but it was also not working! We’ve tried the same router to the other connection & it worked fine! My technician said that the modem is old & so it is not supporting the router! I’ve told their executive many times to replace the router as I’m suffering with my work due to this issues. But haven’t get it yet. I’ve spent more than 10-12 hours behind this net issue last week. Calling their executive, technician or even their customer support centre (I’ve been on waiting for half hour twice!) but not getting any solution. I’m fade up now & really upset with their services. I NEED REFUND of my payment (INR 2900/-) & want to close this connection ASAP. Please help me out!
