I went to NIIT in Kolkata, Shyambazar (Centre Code- 11503)to attend a course on Core JAVA . But as I was waiting for my joining from WIPRO Technologies I didn’t know if i could continue the course to its completion. So I specifically asked Miss.Soumita Bhadra, who was the NIIT representative I communicated to, if this course is transferable mentioning that only then I’ll enroll. She assured me repeatedly that it is and even said that my money would be refunded if it isn’t so. Thus I paid for the course and enrolled on 19. 11. 2012. But before I could start the course I got my job placement in Bangalore. When I went to get my course transferred they refused saying its not transferable and even refused to refund the course fee. Despite repeatedly going there and with repeated assurances that my course will be transferred from both Miss. Bhadra and Mr. Supriyo Sengupta, nothing had resulted from it as yet. I have just started working and Rs. 9,829 is not a minor amount for me.I’m extremely harrased and highly disappointed with the service that a global company like NIIT has provided me and will like to know what you can suggest I should do.
I have already visited the institute outlet in Kolkata twice with my plea but they have just turned me away with promises and later said that nothing is possible. So now I am expecting my course fee refunded and I no longer want to continue with the course from your institute after such ill-treatment.
