I am Shyam Nandan Tripathi, resident of A-109/C-1, Shalimar Garden Extn.2, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, PIN-201005 holding my mobile no.9873331752 with Vodafone Delhi since 2006. On 14 May 2015 at 10:00 PM, I was on call with Vodafone Customer care registering my complain for network signal problem. Due to network problem after repeated disconnection of calls 4-5 times, I could finally register my complain after 10:30 PM. When I made a local mobile call after that, I found out that my mobile balance was deducted by Rs.317 and my balance was Rs.85 only. Before it, the balance was Rs.402. Further I found out that I received SMS notification of deductions for 255 internet pack and 62 SMS pack, whereas I did not request for those packs because I did not need these packs as I had 500MB 3G internet and 700 SMS packs already acive on my mobile & had already recharged with Rs.147 internet pack on 09 May 2015 (5 days back only) & Rs.62 SMS pack on 14May itself at 3:45 PM. When I called Vodafone Customer care again & complained same night, they did not entertain me saying that system will take 4 hours to update & I should call in morning. When I called in morning, they did not take my complain & finally in evening on 15May, they said that I only recharged it & the amount will not be refunded & asked me to e-mail to [email protected]. when I e-mailed same evening 15 May, their reply came on 17 May & it was also negative. It stated “Dear Mr. Tripathi, Thank you for your email dated 15/05/2015 regarding the services for your mobile number 9873331752. We would like to inform you that as per our records your recharge of Rs.255 and 63 was successful on dated 145\2015. Hence we are unable to reverse the amount.” To mention here the wrong information, the deductions were 255 & 62, total making it Rs.317 So, kindly do the needful to protect me from company’s harassment & to get my balance back at the earliest possible.
