Dear Sir/Madam,
At the very first, my greetings to you. For your kind information I would like to detail a little about my inconvinience. I am apostpaid consumer of your esteem company bearing phone number 8486404567 (Assam Circle) maintaining Govt. Plan and have been subscribing Value Added Service of Caller Tunes since long. Firstly, On 6th October’ 2013 I have tried to change my Caller Tune by using your free SMS service (55655) and the words I typed ( the song which I wanted to activate in my number) were “manzile ruswai hai” from the movie Ashique 2 with female voice. I got feedback with 4 (four) options where the last one ( 4th number) came with my song. I sent it back typing ‘4’ and then confirmed it in the next message. But I didn’t get any update messages regarding activation of my new Caller Tune and Rupees 15/- charge. Next thing I got to know that a strange unrequested song “kitna sukun, kitna aaraam hain” is activated in my number. Secondly, on 10th October/2013 when I called up 198 to make a complaint about the same the helpline executve told his own story looking his system on the other side and hardly wanted to understand my long description. Then I requested him to transfer my line to the Supervisor. When the Supervisor took my call told him the matter and requested him to activate my own song without any further charge as it was Vodafone’s fault. Even he too said that I have sent about 5 times the words of that particular song from Ashique 2 to 55655. He said me that he will call me back after sometime and did the same from the number +913533982411. But to my utter annoyance and dissatisfaction he talked so rudely and sarcastically that I felt shameful. I felt like I should have not called Vodafone’s helpline and talk to the Supervisor! When I tried to say my details he was trying to pressurize me by interfering my words just like I am talking rubbish and fool and nonsense. I felt that I am the most nonsense and uneducated person to call him. The more I tried to emphasis my issue the more he tried to interfere me saying he was wasting my time. He was talking so fast and in such a unmannered way that it will make any person UPSET. I said him repeatedly that if I type “manzile ruswai hai” then how can a song “kitna sukun, kitna aaraam hain” be activated!! At last I dropped the call. That’s it. Lastly, I wrote my babbling essay to you so that you can sort out my ‘Caller Tune’ isssue without charging any fees. I think your esttem company should try to acknowledge certain mistakes humbly which will extremely enhance your reputation and goodwill which is prevailing around because a single small matter of a single consumer matters a lot when it comes to business and good relationship. I think, this is Business. I hope to get an amicable response and feedback from your end with a little consistency of rectifying your company’s Supervisors’ manner towards the customers, no matter in any part of India. You never let go a single ‘Rupee’ in our Bills and Charges, then why on earth you don’t recognise your mistakes (Technical/Non-Technical)? We pay upto single penny because we are taking your service and you don’t acccept any fault or genuine complaint of a consumer, no matter how much he/she yells the same thing!! Do your Helpline Guys takes us as Stupids/Nonsense? Is this how Vodafone makes money from consumers!! Is this your Consumer Service!!
