I have recently purchased a new Tata Photon connection with account# 920540471. Service to this connection is deactivated as I was informed on 19th Oct 2014 that there is a pending payment against account# 909589222. Following are the details for account# 909589222
This connection was purchased in the name of ‘Nokia Siemens Networks’ in August 2011 as a corporate plan of INR 6288/-(2GB) as advance rental for year 2011-12 (I sent Receipt to Tata customer care)
Connection was renewed in Sep 2012 with a payment of INR 6404.52/- as advance rental for year 2012-13 (I sent Invoice & receipt to Tata customer Care).
I left Nokia Siemens Networks in the month of June 2013, I also called Tata Photon customer care and informed the same.
I was not contacted again from Tata Photon since June 2013 for any communication regarding account# 909589222. Now when I have purchased a new connection by paying an amount of INR 2000/- for new connection# 920540471, I am being asked for a payment on old account# 909589222 that was due in Sep 2013 as an advance rental for 2013-14.
Since I left Nokia Siemens Networks in June 2013 and informed the same to Tata Photon customer Care in June 2013, this connection should have been deactivated. Also if payment was not received for advance rental of account# 909589222 in Sep 2013, same account should have been immediately disconnected or I should have been contacted for the same.
Now since I purchased new connection and already paid INR 2000/-, they are harassing me for old payment that should not be due at all as connection was not used after June 2013.
When I asked customer care to disconnect new account and refund my money(INR 2000/-), they said data card is non-refundable and connection cannot be deactivated before 3 months and I have to pay monthly rental of INR 1250/- every month till 3 months.
Pls do not purchase Tata connections, waste of your money & mental harassment.
