On 26th January 2013 on my cell no 9974705359 and other my 3 connections were activated for GPRS without any request or SMS or phone call.
On inquiry with AIRTEL on 121 it was informed by customer care person that GPRS has been activated on our cell no due to technical mistake. Airtel has charged for one / 2 days for GPRS for no fault of us.
If it was technical fault then customer need not has to request for stopping GPRS activation. But Airtel is insisting to give a request for stopping the GPRS.
My point is Rs 6 Rs 12 charged to customer for no fault of customer and 6 minutes are required to talk to customer care executive which is costing Rs 3 (Rs .50 per minute)
Airtel has tried to cheat us by activating GPRS wrongly and don’t want to revert charges which are debited to account.
