My name is Shwetank Srivastava and I am 1.5 months old in Mumbai. I took an Airtel connection as I have been using Airtel for the past 10 year. I had obviously submitted all valid documents as no vendor would give sim without the proper documents. One week after the connection my number got blocked, WITHOUT ANY PRIOR WARNING. I called the customer care he said the number had been blocked and you had to visit airtel gallery. I spoke to his supervisor and even registered a complaint (Complaint No -cwbar30713129633). I went to airtel gallery they said go to relationship center (Santacruz). I went to ARC, there he said that it was only telephone verification which you could have done it over the phone. Can you see how ignorant your customer care is ?. Anyways I came back. After two weeks my number got blocked again. I called customer care, he said we didn’t have any record of this number your data has been gone. I again visited airtel gallery and then airtel relationship center (santacruz). I was told that all the data regarding my number is gone and I had to apply for new sim. I again paid for a new sim and they told me it will be activated in 2 days and after activation go to airtel gallery and get a recharge of 31+2. After 3 days when my sim showed network I went to airtel gallery(Parle east) there I had paid 31+2 for the recharge. Gallery person told me that the number is not activated yet from ARC and she called Anil and Lajo (Contact No 9867049730, 9892016775). The guy refused to activate that time after requesting he said ok call after 30 mins. I came back and he my number was not activated even then. Today I again went to Airtel Relationship Center (Santacruz) and spoke to the Manager Evlin (or Avlin). She was extremely rude to me, she was not even looking at me and then she said her it was activated which I had confirmed from customer care that it was not. Mean while I contacted your twitter team for help, they said it can’t be activated. (God knows why?) Finally my number is working after spending over 2000 on roaming and travel in Mumbai. The mental exertion that your people have caused me can’t be explained in words. The way they treat customers is pathetic, they don’t have any knowledge and they see any problem from their side only. I study in a very prestigious college in Mumbai. I have a very hectic schedule. To visit your gallery and ARC I had to leave so many assignments, which I am now paying for. Every year we have over 2500 students intake and we arrange we take sim cards in bulk to avail offers. I promise you that I will make them aware of your services and try that nobody from this batch who is new to Mumbai go for Airtel. You can’t imagine the level of my frustration. I demand for compensation and a complaint against Evlin (Manager, ARC Santacruz).
