this is in regard of my car Tata safari Storme Ex model purchased on 7.12.2012 from Society motors mcrobertganj Kanpur. on the morning of 21.01.2013 the car couldn’t start due to some engine malfunction.The car display flashed ENGINE MALFUNCTION” due to which i contacted the service station of the company owned by the same dealer and of the service personnel took the car to the service station. there i was informed that the wiring of the car had been destroyed by a rat and that they would require some time to repair the car as it would be ordered and transported from some other city. forced by the circumstances I had left the car in the service station on 21.01.2013 for the repair. Since then after repetitive phonecalls and visits the wiring of the car was unavailable and the car was standing pointlessly there. the service personnel could have tried fixing the wires by taping them but they were least concerned doing it. the complete wiring of the car was changed on 29.01.2013 after a long period of 8 days and the original wiring was handed over to me after demanding for it which had just a single cut in it. and a bill of Rs. 10000 was handed over to me in which not even the labour charges(rs. 2000) had been spared under the claim of warranty.My goodness I had to pay such a handsome amount for a single cut in the wiring and that too after a long wait of 8 days. i had bought this car for the purpose of travelling and due to this negligence of the employees i had to miss several meetings and suffer a huge loss in my business. morover there was no consideration from their side in charging such whopping amount from me. Due to such tremendous inconvenience that has been caused to me. l hope to get some support from Autocar regarding this matter.
