I had purchased a Nokia E7 handset (IMEI # 354864043883520) – on 7th August 2012 from
Sagar Variety Store,

Orissa
dealer. I paid Rs. 20,800 for this purchase.In the month of May 2013, I switched off the mobile as I had my examinations going on from 25th May 2013 and again tried to switch it on after 14 days. But to my surprise, the phone did not switch on and I took it to Nokia authorised service centre located at Angul for repairs. There at the service centre, I was shocked when nokia care staff checked my IMEI number online and informed me that the warranty period of my phone has already expired and so repairs cannot be done under warranty. However, according to the warranty given by your dealer, my phone is very well under the warranty period.I have also a proof its valid bill from the dealer
When I approached to the dealer regarding this problem, he refused to take any responsibility. Ever since, I have been constantly following up with Nokia company, trying to get my issue resolved. But Nokia Private Limited company has been extremely casual in handling my case and refused to repair my phone under warranty.But now also my phone is under valid warranty according to the bill.
